The NJDEP issued changes to the Soil Remediation Standards, effective September 18, 2017. The changes are a result to recent updates by the USEPA to toxicity information in the Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS) on which the soil remediation standards are based. The changes include 11 standards becoming less stringent, 6 standards becoming more stringent and one contaminant which will no longer be regulated.
